We had a wonderful evening of cherry-picking and camaraderie in Hillsboro on Wednesday, June 17, as Tom Hrabal opened up his parent's farm to a group of Veterans and their supporters.
We picked cherries, gave thanks, and enjoyed some tasty snacks as we gathered to connect and reflect on our VetREST mission of Finding Peace from the Hidden Battle. Being out in the orchard on a lovely June evening reminded us just how healing nature can be.
Look for similar upcoming events in August and September, as the pears and apples will be ripening!
