She is a member of the Type One Nation and in her spare time, enjoys being an outdoor adventurer engaged in mountain biking, hiking and fly fishing.
Demauri was diagnosed with diabetes over 29 years ago. Since then, she has not let the disease get the best of her. She lives with and successfully manages it every day. She strongly believes, with the proper support, mentoring and coaching a person can develop the determination, perseverance and inner strength to overcome any obstacle to include PTS.
